About Me

My background spans concept development, 3D modelling, CAD, prototyping and material exploration. I’m particularly interested in the point where digital design meets physical experimentation, using prototypes and material tests to understand what works and refine the design through iteration.

My interest in ecodesign has also led me to investigate waste as a potential design resource. This became the starting point for Zestep, a project focused on recovering cellulose acetate waste from eyewear production and transforming it into a material for additive manufacturing. The project resulted in a granted patent and the development of reAcetate, connecting eyewear manufacturing waste with 3D printing.

Eyewear is one of the fields I’m most interested in. I approach frames as products shaped by geometry, ergonomics, materials, manufacturing processes and development constraints, while my work in material research has made me particularly interested in how new materials and production technologies can influence the way products are designed.
